Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing complex cardiac and vascular procedures, contributing to the care and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Unit Information

The position is located in a Cardiac Cath Lab that manages a variety of cases, including electrophysiology (EP), structural heart procedures (TAVR), and hybrid procedures (EVAR). This is a Level II Trauma unit with:

• 242 beds
• 2 labs
• 6-8 cases performed daily

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Schedule: 4 days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-call requirements: To be determined

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS (AHA)

Technology Used

Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic, and GE Maclab systems is essential for this position.

Location

This role is based in the Cardiac Cath Lab in a facility located in a major region with access to advanced medical resources.
