Description
Job Description
The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing essential cardiopulmonary services in accordance with protocols approved by medical staff and departmental policies. This role involves delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
- Maintain patient airways and manage ventilators.
- Perform intubations and collect arterial blood gas samples.
Shift Details
We are looking for a Certified Respiratory Therapist for the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.
Contract Duration
This position is for a duration of 13 weeks.
Qualifications
- MUST have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- MUST have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy is required.
- Experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency departments is necessary.
- Minimal experience in NICU and Pediatrics is acceptable to cover the ED.

This position is located in a facility in the Northeastern United States. Specific city and state details can be provided upon request.
