Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient surgical role. This position focuses on various aspects of patient care, including pre-operative assessments, pre-admission testing, and post-operative recovery for outpatient surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Administer pre-admission testing as required.
• Oversee post-operative care and recovery in Phase 2 Recovery.
• Ensure safe discharge of outpatient surgery patients to their homes.
• Maintain productivity in a high-volume clinical setting.

Requirements

• Day shift availability covering Monday through Friday with an 8-hour shift.
• Prior experience with Epic Optime is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
