Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a leading healthcare provider in Naperville, IL. The role will focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a Level 2 trauma center environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-operative recovery.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to other ICU and inpatient units as needed.
• Participate in orientation sessions to familiarize oneself with unit protocols and procedures.

Schedule Details

• Days, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: As needed

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity ICU setting; 5 years preferred
• Previous travel experience is a plus
