Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Shift Information
- Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage incoming patients in a timely manner.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate and implement effective care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and make critical decisions.
