ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide critical care support in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in intensive care medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Unit Highlights

• Location: Lewisville, TX
• Unit Type: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Shift Details

• Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend or as discussed
• Call Requirements: Discuss during the interview

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting is required.
• Specialized Skills: Experience with critical care procedures and advanced life support.
• Certifications: Current RN license and specialty certifications preferred.

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Standard hospital scrubs.
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails or gel nails permitted.
• Hair: Neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Unit and Attendance Policies

• Floating Guidelines: Nurses may be asked to float to other units as needed.
• Attendance: Adherence to company-wide attendance policies is expected.
