Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team. This position will focus on providing quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Unit Information

• Type: Ortho Trauma Unit
• Number of Beds: 32
• Staff Composition: RN, LVN, PCT
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Type of Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines
• EMR: Meditech
• Floating Requirement: May float to sister departments

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Charge experience
  • Preceptor experience

Typical Duties

• Ambulation of patients
• Wound care as needed
