  • Number of Beds: 5 Recovery Beds, 2 Cath Labs
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 Recovery, 1:1 Cath Lab
  • Unit Staffing Description: RN’s and Cath Lab Techs
  • Type of Equipment: MacLab, Balloon Pump, Impella, Boston IVUS/FFR
  • Documentation System: MacLab and Meditech
  • Scheduling Special Requirements: Call is required
  • Floating Policy: No float required
  • Patient Experience Requirements: ACLS and BLS certifications are required

Position Summary

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures within the catheterization lab. The RN will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure successful procedures and patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 3 Years
• Requested Skill Set: Experience as a Cath Lab RN with moderate sedation required
• Must Have: Experience as a Cath Lab nurse
• Advanced Skills Needed: Heart Catheterization, Peripheral Procedures, Device Insertion, and Interventional Radiology (IR) cases
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
