Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a busy imaging department in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography and be adept at handling high patient volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography exams on patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Assist with breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Work efficiently within a high-volume department, interacting with approximately 100 patients daily.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Hologic mammography machines preferred.
Schedule and Holiday Requirements
This position is scheduled Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
