Description

Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional care in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires extensive experience in labor and delivery, as well as antepartum and postpartum care.

Scheduled Details

Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
A successful travel contract is required.
Strong experience in Labor and Delivery at a level 3 facility.
Experience with antepartum and postpartum care is essential.

License and Certification Requirements

Active Illinois Nursing License.
Epic certification.
CPR and NRP certification.
Knowledge of electronic fetal monitoring; experience with telemetry monitoring is a plus.

Floating Requirements

The candidate may be required to float to the antepartum unit as needed.

Orientation

There will be a 12-hour non-billable orientation prior to the start of the position.

Credential Submission

All credentialing documentation is due the Thursday before the start date.

Location

This position is located in a city in Illinois.
