Job Description:

The Radiologic Technologist's primary responsibilities include the positioning of patients for x-ray imaging, specifically for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle examinations. This role entails performing imaging procedures independently, operating x-ray equipment, processing images, and documenting results into the PACS system. The Technologist will also provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse, which may include the following tasks:

• Obtaining vital signs
• Assisting patients in exam rooms
• Collecting specimens, including blood draws if qualified
• Preparing patients for clinician evaluations
• Assisting clinicians as needed

The Radiologic Technologist is also responsible for ensuring that the work area is orderly and well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment. There may be a requirement to float to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Current CPR Certification
• California issued Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT licensure
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Previous traveler experience preferred

Work Schedule:

Shifts are 8 hours long with an 8:00 AM start time. Weekend scheduling may be required. Holiday coverage is also necessary.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Certifications/Requirements:

• BLS/BCLS Certification
• ARRT(R) Certification
