Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: Days: 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
- Unit Staffing:
- Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Nights: 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Type of Equipment: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter Equipment, Remote Telemetry
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other Weekend (Saturday, Sunday), weekdays flexible
- Floating Policy: As needed, typically between Medical-Surgical units
- Patient Experience Requirements: BSSR, Hourly Rounding
Qualifications
- Requested Skill Set:
- Must Have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
- Advanced Skills Needed: IV and Foley catheter placement
- Certifications Required: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
Dress Code
Required uniform: Black or Royal Blue scrubs
