- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: Days 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
- Unit Staffing Description:
- Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 PCT
- Nights: 2-3 PCT
- Type of Equipment: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter Equipment, Remote Telemetry
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday), weekdays flexible
- Floating Policy: PRN, typically between Medical-Surgical units
- Patient Experience Requirements: BSSR, hourly rounding
Hiring Profile
Requested Skill Set
- Must Have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
- Advanced Skills Needed: Procedures performed on unit include IV and Foley catheter placement
- Certifications Required: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
Dress Code
Required uniform: Black or royal blue scrubs
