Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cardiac procedures and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor cardiac cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Assist in various procedures, including electrophysiology cases, device implantations, and neuro interventions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate efficient patient care.
• Utilize the GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System for case monitoring.
• Participate in call rotation, approximately 10-11 days per month, including some weekends.

Work Environment

The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of four labs, predominantly utilizing three for procedures. Daily case volume typically ranges from 5-15 cases.

Orientation and Training

New nurses will undergo three days of orientation with plans to independently manage cases by the end of the week. An experienced nurse will provide support during initial call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS.

Location

This position will require floating between various locations in Bryan and College Station, TX.
