Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team for an 8-week contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule Details
- Shift: 12 hours, evenings (3:00 PM - 3:00 AM)
- Orientation: 2 sessions of 12-hour shifts (non-billable)
- Weekend Requirements: Rotating
- Holiday Requirements: As needed, with a minimum of 3 holidays between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Preferred Experience: 4+ years in an Emergency Room setting
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system is required
- New Graduates: Not accepted
