Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details

Contract Length: 8-12 weeks, with the possibility of extension
Orientation Schedule: 2-3 shifts (24-36 hours), non-billable orientation of 12-16 hours

Scheduling Information

Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
Holiday Requirements: Required to work holidays

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Room nursing
Preferred Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Room nursing

Licensure and Certifications

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Experience with Epic electronic health records system
