Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

This position requires 6 shifts of 12 hours each, totaling 72 hours per two-week period, with every third weekend off.

Minimum Experience

Two years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED) is required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Active State of Hawaii RN license is required prior to the start of the assignment.

Job Description

This role involves Working in an Emergency Department within a small critical access hospital, with responsibilities spanning multiple areas including Emergency Room, Acute, and Long-Term Care (LTC). Registered Nurses (RNs) will cover all areas as it is a facility without separate units.

In the event of low patient volume in the ED, RNs will provide support in Acute and LTC areas. When assigned to medication administration, RNs are expected to pass medications and perform procedures for both LTC and acute patients. Please note that this facility is not latex-free.
