Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and deliver high-quality patient care in an acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and prevention strategies.
- Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor per policy is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
Schedule
This position will require night shifts of 36 or 48 hours.
