Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, specializing in critical care. This position involves working rotating night shifts, with options for either 3x12 or 4x12 schedules. The work hours are from 1900 to 0730, and candidates should expect to be flexible with their scheduling as no blocked schedules will be accommodated. Rare on-call duties may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to implement care strategies.
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record management.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent: Required
  • Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.): Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• Experience:
  • Completion of a Critical Care Nursing course: Required
  • Six months of previous critical care experience: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 1 year of hire or transfer. Current employees as of June 30, 2021, have 2 years to complete this requirement.
