Position Overview

This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room. The selected candidate will work in a surgical unit with a focus on patient care during surgical procedures.

Ft. Worth, TX

Unit Information

This unit features:

• Number of Beds: 7
• Number of Staff: 3
• Patient Ratios: 4 to 5 cases per team

Typical Procedures

• Total joints, including hip replacements
• Tibia and fibula surgeries
• Plastics, including breast reduction and expansions
• Robotic surgeries, including XI and DV5 procedures
• Breast reconstruction utilizing Diep Flaps

Position Responsibilities

The role involves the following key responsibilities:

• Assisting in positioning patients on hospital beds.
• Prepping patients for surgery and monitoring all necessary equipment throughout procedures.
• Collaborating with certified surgical technologists (CSTs) to ensure the smooth operation of surgical care.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Experience as a Circulator, ideally with at least 3 years in the Operating Room.
• No requests for time off during the assignment.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with orthopedic, plastics, and podiatry procedures.
