Job Summary

This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with critical staffing needs. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, as well as antepartum and postpartum care.

Scheduled Details

• Shift: 12-hour Day Shift
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday night shift)
• Holiday Requirements: As needed

Responsibilities

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will perform the following duties:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Assist with antepartum and postpartum patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• May float to the antepartum unit as needed.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
• At least one successful travel contract.
• Strong experience in Labor and Delivery Level 3.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License.
• Certification in Epic, CPR, and NRP.
• Skills in Electronic Fetal Monitoring and Tele Monitoring are a plus.

Orientation

Orientation will consist of 12 hours and is non-billable.

Credentialing

Credentials are due by the Thursday before the start date.

Start Date

The anticipated start date for this position is October 26.
