Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Shift Information

• Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Unit Description

The Emergency Department consists of a state-of-the-art facility with 24 beds dedicated to providing immediate care for patients in need. The department is equipped with advanced technology and follows best practices for emergency care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current RN license (active status only, temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Current certifications:
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Experience in a Healthcare System is required.

Dress Code

The dress code for this position includes:

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails or gels permitted.
• Hair: Neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Facial Hair: Must be clean and neatly trimmed.
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos will be addressed individually.
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
