Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality respiratory care to patients and supporting a diverse patient population.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday requirements will be every other rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and response to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Valid Pennsylvania state license for respiratory therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
