Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on MedSurg and Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of patient care within these specialties and demonstrate the ability to respond efficiently to the needs of patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient health, including vital signs and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Potentially float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact RN license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg nursing.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required.
• Critical Care RNs are welcome to apply, provided they are familiar with MedSurg ratios and acuity.

Required Certifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NHISS certification needed prior to starting.
• A Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a minimum passing score of 80% is required.

Additional Information

Candidates must include their requested time off (RTO) at the time of submission for consideration. A thorough skills checklist matching the MedSurg and Telemetry specialties must also be completed.
