Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 26
• Type of Staff:
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 1 Rapid Response RN, 8 Bedside RNs
  • Night Shift: Same as Day Shift
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Type of Equipment: Mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, EKOS
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Job Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • 1-2 years of ICU experience
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Cardiac Vascular and Neuro ICU
• Typical Procedures:
  • Intubation
  • Bedside ECMO cannulation
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Bedside tracheostomy
  • Central line insertions
• Personality Fit:
  • Accountability for actions
• Required Certifications: ACLS/BCLS
