Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes responsibilities such as monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care.
Shift Details
Day Shift: 0700 to 1930
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical-surgical setting.
- Float to medical-surgical units as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals and manage care plans effectively.
- Use electronic health records (Epic) for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent: Required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred.
- Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course: Preferred.
- Completion of Critical Care Course: Preferred.
- 6 months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in the last 2 years: Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice: Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
- NIHSS certification: Required within 6 months of hire.
