Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will primarily focus on providing care in the Med-Surg unit with additional responsibilities in the Emergency Room setting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position operates on a 7 on, 7 off block schedule with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires availability for every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload averaging 5 patients, collaborating with 2 RNs per shift.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are mandatory.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A complimentary room is provided within the facility for nurses during their shift, ensuring convenience and comfort while on duty.
