Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day-shift assignment. This position requires candidates to provide comprehensive respiratory care and support within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assessments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform diagnostic tests to assess respiratory function.
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and other respiratory support systems.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory health and care procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care and treatment as per established guidelines.

Schedule

This position includes a schedule of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts. There may be a requirement to float to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RRT license is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential is essential.

Compliance Information

All compliance requirements must be completed two full weeks prior to the start date.

Location

This role is primarily based in Gold Beach, OR, with potential responsibilities in Brookings, OR, as required.

Start Date

The expected start date for this position is the end of November.
