Position Overview

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing procedures within the cardiology department. This position requires a thorough understanding of cardiac procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiology.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education regarding procedures and aftercare.

Schedule

This position requires working a schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional shifts extending until 6:30 PM. The RN will be expected to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as per hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
