Description
Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute care facility. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall performance of the nursing team and ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- On-call rotation every Friday (alternating 1st and 2nd call)
- Weekend call required every 5-6 weeks
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations.
- Utilize Davinci surgical technology when applicable.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Acute care facility experience is preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
