Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty of respiratory care.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and equipment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
- Valid GA RRT license is mandatory.
- NBRC-RRT certification is required.
- At least two professional references are required.
Schedule
This position requires flexible scheduling, including the ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. Additionally, the candidate must be available to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
