Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in computed tomography and possess the necessary certifications to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT scans and imaging studies efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document and manage images using our electronic medical record (EMR) and Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) software.
• Start IVs as needed for imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification as a CT Technologist.
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging devices is preferred.
• Ability to work a 4x10 schedule from Tuesday to Friday.
• Flexibility to float to outpatient settings if required.

Department Overview

The Radiology department performs a comprehensive range of imaging studies utilizing five CT scanners. The department is equipped to handle an average of 25 scans per day, providing essential diagnostic services to patients.

Additional Information

• Black scrubs are to be worn as per the department dress code.
• Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
• Department-specific orientation will be provided.
