Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit. The role is vital in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring that our telemetry and neuro patients receive the highest level of nursing care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and telemetry setting.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Shift Details

Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday required
Availability on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit needs

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN License
BLS certification required
Minimum of 3 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Strong background in telemetry and neuro nursing
MediTech experience preferred
