Description
Shift Information
3 shifts of 12 hours each, with on-call requirements as needed. Note that block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
Job Summary
This position entails assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and determine their healthcare needs.
- Collaborate with team members to create and execute individual care plans.
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
- Utilize nursing clinical judgment to monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Foster a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management.
- Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Engage in continuing education to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- ACLS certification is required.
