Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 26-week contract. This position involves working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where patient safety and high-quality care are paramount.
Location
The role is based in Hudson, FL.
Schedule
This position offers a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional work required as needed.
Unit Information
The procedural unit consists of a total of 8-10 staff members, including 5 technicians and 5 Registered Nurses. The unit provides care for a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the procedural area.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during interventional procedures.
- Assist in neuro-interventions, angiograms, embolizations, biopsies, and other procedures.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment, including GE Biplane Suite and Mac Lab.
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care experience.
- Experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Preferred:
- Experience in Neuro IR and Trauma IR.
