Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cardiovascular operating room procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technologies.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assist during various surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cardiovascular operating room settings.
- Previous experience in main operating room preferred.
- Must be flexible and a team player.
- Ability to adapt to various procedures and environments.
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech, is advantageous.
Unit Information
Our unit consists of:
- 12 surgical suites with 2 dedicated CVORs.
- A dedicated staff of RNs and Surgical Technologists.
- A patient-to-staff ratio of 1:1.
