Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, care, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or CVICU nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
