Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse with a strong background in various surgical cases including orthopedic, general, and robotic surgeries utilizing the Da Vinci system. The ideal candidate will possess more than two years of experience in the operating room and have a successful track record of completing travel contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and support among colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
• Experience with surgical cases in orthopedic, general, and robotic surgery (Da Vinci system).
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Possession of a valid Illinois nursing license and CPR certification.
• Successful completion of at least one travel contract.
• Scrub experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Shifts: 10 or 12 hours, with options from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Lunch: A 30-minute lunch break is required.
• No weekend or holiday requirements.
• Orientation: A non-billable orientation session is required.
