Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will work within a Level II Trauma Center to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of various backgrounds and needs.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • NRP or STABLE certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Two or more years of experience
  • Familiarity with Meditech

Job Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering safe and effective respiratory care, including but not limited to:

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders
• Performing assessments and evaluations of respiratory function
• Maintaining and troubleshooting respiratory care equipment
• Educating patients and families on respiratory health and treatments
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to work every other weekend and holidays, in rotation with hospital staff. Schedules will be arranged in accordance with facility policies.
