- Day Shift: RN, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Night Shift: RN, PCTs

- Type of Equipment: Mobilab, Baxter pumps
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
- Floating Requirement: May float to other Medical Surgical Telemetry level of care departments
Job Overview
The MedSurg Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a surgical medical unit. The role requires collaboration with a supportive clinical operations team and nursing leadership, ensuring exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 6 months of experience caring for medical surgical patients
- Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Charge nurse experience
- Advanced Medical Surgical Nurse certification (MSRN)
Common Procedures
- Peripheral IV insertion
- NG Tube management
- Caring for patients on telemetry monitors
- Dressing changes
- Management of central lines
