CT Technologist

General Information

The position involves working in a medical imaging environment, specifically within the CT unit. The technologist will perform various diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT equipment.

Position Details

• Shift: Mixed Nights and Weekends
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Ogden, UT

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 223
• Number of Staff: 63 in Radiology
• Type of Equipment: GE CT scanners (two 128 slice, one 64 slice, one 16 slice)
• EMR: Meditech, GE PACS

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience with GE CT systems
• Ability to provide Diagnostic X-ray

Preferred Skills:

• Strong IV skills
• Experience with biopsies and pediatrics
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Typical Procedures Performed

• CT Angiographies (CTA), including head to toe
• Calcium scoring
• Stroke workups
• Low Dose Lung scans
• Pulmonary imaging
• Comprehensive diagnostic skills are required

• ARRT (CT)
