Mammo Technologist

Job Description

A Mammo Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract. The position requires strong expertise in screening and diagnostic mammography, including proficiency in digital breast tomosynthesis and routine quality control.

Shift Information

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience is required.

Certifications/Requirements

ARRT(M) certification
Current BLS certification
Applicable Rhode Island licensure
Documentation of current MQSA qualifications
Verification of continuing education and examination volume prior to start

Skills and Unit Experience

Screening and diagnostic mammography
Digital breast tomosynthesis
Patient care and positioning
Image quality assessment
Routine quality control procedures
Breast biopsy experience is preferred

Unit Information

This position involves working in a breast imaging unit that serves screening and diagnostic patients.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is not required.
No call, weekends, or holiday shifts are necessary.
