Description
ER/Med Surg RN
Role
Travel RN for an ER/emergency room assignment that also covers Med Surg.
Location
Chamberlain, South Dakota
Unit / Department
- ER / emergency room
- Med Surg
- 5-bed unit
- 25 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Dakota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Med Surg experience
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Day/Night rotate
- Every other weekend and holiday
- 3 call shifts required in a 13-week contract
Float Scope
- Floats between ER and Med Surg
Additional Notes
- Local candidates are accepted if within 80 miles
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- If the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health, they must have an end date 6 months prior to submission
- Able to function independently in the ER and in the Med Surg unit with up to 5 patients
- Training includes EPIC computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med Surg training
