Interventional Radiology Tech
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Overview
- Interventional Radiology Tech
- Department: IR | Tech
- Special Procedures Tech, separate from EP and cath lab
- 6 labs with pre-op and phase 2 recovery
- Average volume: 20-30 cases per day
Required Qualifications
- Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ARRT
- Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels
Schedule
- Days
- 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Weeknight call: 7-9 shifts in 6 weeks
- Weekend call required
- Holiday call required
- Call response time: 30 minutes
Responsibilities
- Scrub
- Pass supplies
- Set up and take down procedure room
Patient Population
- Vascular, neuro, drains, lines
Additional Details
- Local placements accepted within 50 miles
- Local rate adjustment applies within 50 miles
- Guaranteed hours do not apply during 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- Unit-specific orientation: 3-5 days in the lab
- Floating: No, either cath lab or IR
- Scrub color/dress code provided
