RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN role in Emergency Nursing
- Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
- Call: none
- Float: none
- Unit has 22 beds
- Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 critical, 6:1 fast track
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Trauma experience
- Pediatric experience
Unit Details
- Patient population includes traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and all ages
- EHR: Cerner
Schedule / Orientation
- Biweekly orientation
- New hire orientation dates listed for 2026: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 23, December 7, December 21
