RN - ICU

Location: Golden, Colorado Employment Type: Clinical Nursing Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day 12, 3 x 12-hour days (0700-1930), 36 hours per week, weekends included

Role Summary

• Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under accepted practice standards and state Board of Nursing rules.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including ongoing health status assessment and health data collection.
• Provides health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines and uses resources as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need.
• May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• 1+ years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
• NIHSS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
