Description
RN Circulator - Surgery
Location: Beckley, West Virginia Contract Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Employment Type: Travel Unit: Operating Room (7 OR rooms, 1:1 patient ratio) Patient Population: All ages Trauma Level: Level III
Schedule and Hours
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (40 hours per week listed)
- Shift: See shift details
- Orientation: Biweekly, on Wednesdays
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend or as needed, with potential for coverage/call
- Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Float: As needed, interdepartmental
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of OR circulating experience
- OR circulating experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience circulating in podiatry surgery, including working with podiatry patients
- Experience circulating in gynecological surgery
- Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
- Urology experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Vascular surgery experience
