Employment Type: Travel Location: Wilson, NC Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 Start Dates: 11/9, 11/23 Orientation: Bi-weekly Openings: 2
Role Overview
- Role: Circulating RN
- Unit: Operating Room (Operating Room 7010 is omitted; see note below)
- Shift: 8 or 10 hours, Monday through Friday, plus call
- Weekend Hours: On call
- Call Requirements: 4-6 weekdays per month; every 3rd weekend (subject to change)
- Unit Size: 6 ORs
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Standard OR equipment plus a DaVinci Xi Robot
- Patient Population: All except children under 1 year
- Specialties: Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, DaVinci, ENT, Pediatric Dentistry
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Abdominal, GYN, laparoscopic, fractures, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- 2 years of OR circulating experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
