PT - Therapy

Location: Havertown, Pennsylvania (Compact eligible state) Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 32 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

Unit and Schedule

• Unit: ARU
• Beds: 9
• Patient ratio: Typically 4:1
• Patient population: General acute rehab (CVA, amputations, TBI, ortho, Parkinson's)
• Shift: Days
• Openings: 1
• Weekend hours: As needed, with flexibility to take time off during the week
• Call: None
• Float: LTACH, if interested (not required)
• Equipment: Lite Gait, MoVeo, NuStep, bariatric parallel bars
• Documentation system: ProDoc

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Master's degree in physical therapy
• BLS
• Physical Therapist experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Rehab setting

Personality Fit

• Adaptable, flexible, and a good communicator (verbal and written)

Dress Code

• Scrubs required; navy blue is primary, but other colors are allowed
• No blue jeans

• Philadelphia is about 20–30 minutes away, with Wilmington, Atlantic City, Baltimore, and New York City within a few hours for days off.
