Description
Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Crawfordsville, Indiana Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Positions Available: 1 (replacement position)
Assignment Details
- Unit: Ultrasound (Radiology)
- Equipment: Epiq Elite ultrasound systems (2 systems)
- Shift: 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Call: Four techs share after-hours and weekend call responsibilities. Weekend shifts are shared call.
- Coverage Model: Ultrasound is generally staffed with two-technologist coverage. Because the workforce is cross-trained, assignments may shift across multiple modalities to meet operational needs.
- Patient Types: Inpatient, outpatient, and ED
- Float Requirements: None
Requirements
- Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT (Ultrasound)
- Experience: 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- Vascular Experience: Experience with vascular ultrasound and working with vascular patients
- Procedural Experience: Experience with procedures (drainages and small part biopsies)
Onboarding
- Day 1: Enter through the ED door (door 1) and proceed to Radiology. Complete computer-based trainings (CBTs).
- Day 2: EMR training

- Dress Code: Charcoal grey scrubs. Hoodies and sweatshirts are not acceptable.
